This blog is about truth, fierce truth. Truth is not always popular, but very necessary. Without truth, you have nothing. This blog will be dedicated to the naked truth, no hidden agenda, no sides taken. We will discuss any and all subjects in reference to G-d’s word. What better way to measure the truth then with the living Word of G-d, the Bible.

We live in a society that says live your own truth or if it feels good do it. Sometimes we even hear truth is subject to the individual person. What is truth to one is not truth to another.

First let’s start with the definition of the word truth. Truth – The quality or state of being true / that which is true or in accordance with fact or reality. (Webster Dictionary)

The Biblical definitions from the article on the internet, gty.org article (Grace to you by John MacArther Aug 4, 2009). The Bible teaches us truth is that which is consistent with the mind, will, character, glory, and being of G-d. Because the definition of truth flows from G-d, truth is theological.

Truth is also ontological – which is a fancy way of saying it is the way things really are. Also, G-d is the author, source, determiner, governor, arbiter, ultimate standard, and final judge of all truth.

Now that we have definitions of truth we can move forward to a better understanding of the truth.

Why is truth becoming so obsolete? The further our culture moves away from morality and a personal relationship with Yeshua (Jesus), the truth becomes blurred and muddy.

When truth is mentioned, such as tell the truth the whole truth so help you G-d. What if we changed that phrase, I promise to tell the whole truth nothing but the truth so help me G-d to I promise to speak with integrity, nothing but integrity, so help me G-d.

Integrity shines a light to the word truth. If we don’t have truth, we don’t have integrity, if we don’t have integrity, we have no morals. if we have no morals, we are truly separated from G-d.

This world has become so hard to navigate to be able to discern truth from lies. The way I discern truth from lies is really quite simple.

  1. Pray about it ask G-d to show you truth from a lie.
  2. How does it line up with what the scripture says.
  3. And last but not least, is there a lot of confusion around it?

G-d is not the author of confusion. With G-d comes clarity and no doubt.

So, in conclusion without truth there is no real foundation to stand on in any walk of life rather its marriage, or relationships with your kids or even work relationship with coworkers.

So, to be a person who walks in truth, you need to know the essence of truth, the embodiment of truth Yeshua, (Jesus).

When you are one with Yeshua you will be able to understand truth from lies. Have a blessed day tell next time. Have a blessed day tell next time. Walk in truth and integrity and with moral fortitude.

Verses you may want to look at on Truth, Integrity, or Morality.

Truth: John 14:6, 1John 1:8, 2 Timothy 2:15, Proverbs 12:22

Integrity: Proverbs 11:3, Proverbs 4:25-27, Hebrews 13:18, Psalms 41:11-12

Morality: 1 Corinthians 15:33, Galatians 5:19-21, Matthew 6:24, Romans 12: 1-2.
